North Macedonia’s national AI Factory Antenna, Vezilka, was promoted on Wednesday. The goal is for citizens to receive faster services, while new technology can help achieve that, it was highlighted at the presentation.
PM Mickoski stated that Vezilka was an investment in the future, as well as in the potential of researchers, institutions, and students. According to the Minister of Digital Transformation, Andonovski, the project targets areas intended to improve the quality of life of citizens through healthcare, culture, and public services. EU Ambassador Rokas addressed the promotion, too, saying the initiative was an important step in North Macedonia’s digital journey.
The budget for the project is around 6.2 million euros.
