In Thursday’s interview with Kanal 5, Foreign Minister Mucunski stated that the Government remained fully committed to European integration, but that enlargement had to be credible, predictable, and based on objective criteria, not on bilateral conditions.
Also, regarding North Macedonia’s integration path, he emphasized that the objective reality was that the country had been standing still for fifteen years, reiterating that the EC had assessed as early as 2011 that it fulfilled conditions to start accession negotiations.
Regarding the issue of the diplomatic note on PM Mickoski’s family’s visit to Pamporovo, the Minister said Bulgaria should have at least condemned it.
