Reform Agenda: Parliament Votes Through Package of Laws

Parliament has voted through a package of laws related to the Reform Agenda without extensive debate.

On Friday, MPs passed the laws concerning court service, prosecutor’s service, senior managers, use of renewable sources of energy, and zootechnics. The legislation on weapons was voted through as well. It was the only text supported by SDSM.

The opposition criticized the ruling majority, saying it was rushing the legislation simply to meet deadlines. The ruling majority, however, refuted accusations, saying that on June 30, the country would be again the one that had delivered the most reforms.
