Before EU Ambassadors on Tuesday, Justice Minister Filkov presented the results of the Reform Agenda’s implementation in the area of the rule of law, as well as legal reforms and the next steps in fulfilling the country’s European obligations.
Over the past period, the Ministry has carried out its most extensive legislative reform cycle, preparing around 30 laws in fewer than two years, 13 of which are directly linked to the Reform Agenda, Filkov assessed.
“This legislative cycle represents the most extensive reform process carried out by the Ministry of Justice over such a short period of time and is clear proof of the institutional capacity, responsibility, and determination with which reforms are implemented”, the Minister stated.
