Janevska: For Implemented Education Reforms, EU to Provide EUR 19.2 Million

The Ministry of Education and Science will receive EUR 19.2 million from the EU for fulfilling obligations under the Reform Agenda, Minister Vesna Janevska announced on Facebook. She explained that the funds are recognition of the reforms already implemented and will be used to continue educational changes.

Janevska noted that the Ministry approached its commitments responsibly and worked with dedication, expressing satisfaction with the achieved goals and gratitude to the government, partner institutions, and the EU.

She highlighted that three key reforms were completed: over 160 primary schools equipped with modern IT tools and secure internet access, a new funding methodology for primary education, and an early-adopted model for financing secondary and vocational education, already in effect from the 2026 budget.
