Regarding the Aerodrom peer violence case, Interior Minister Toshkovski said on Thursday that criminal charges would be filed against the individuals, as well as against their parents. The Ministry has taken all actions within its competence.
Asked if legal changes were needed aiming at greater parental responsibility, the Minister stated that all proposals that would contribute to a more efficient institutional response would be analyzed.
Regarding the possibility of reintroducing so-called neighborhood police officers, Toshkovski emphasized that the Ministry was working on a greater police presence on the ground and on expanding the video surveillance system.
