Igor Ivanovski, a former high-ranking official of SDSM, in an interview with Sitel, says though he has known Filipche since he was 17 and holds nothing personal against him, the SDSM leader has failed to find his footing in the position of party leader.
According to the former official, as SDSM leader, Filipche should establish a complete discontinuity within the party so that it can become competitive again and experience a new beginning from a conceptual, programmatic, and personnel standpoint.
However, SDSM has said all masks have fallen, i.e., it points out in a press release that Ivanovski has admitted that the platform only aimed to topple the party from within.
