Chento Stabbing of 14 year old: Prosecutors claim “violence”, not “murder attempt”

Precautionary measures have been issued against three suspects accused of attacking, in Chento on June 22, a 14-year-old boy, who was severely beaten and stabbed a total of seven times.

The measures include: a ban on leaving their place of residence, an obligation to report periodically to a designated official or a relevant state body, a temporary confiscation of passports or any other travel documents used for crossing the state border, a ban on visiting the location where the attack and stabbing took place, and a ban on approaching or establishing any form of contact with the 14-year-old and his parents.

In the meantime, activities to collect evidence have continued.
