A new hearing in the trial of Appellate Court Judge Gjoko Ristov was held on Tuesday.
An Interior Ministry expert testified, clearly stating that there had been no contamination in the determination of Ristov’s DNA on the aluminum foil wrapping the 350,000 euros found in his parents’ home in Negotino. That practically dismantled the defense, according to which during the collection of physical evidence, an expert’s glove tore, which contaminated the evidence and the DNA.
There was also a presentation of electronic communications obtained from a seized phone belonging to a defendant in another case involving a group accused of prostitution and drug dealing. Their communication with Gani Tusha — who is also accused in the Belanoca case and a member of the group — were read aloud.
