On Tuesday, SDSM leader Filipche said PM Mickoski’s apology following the events in Parliament the previous day was forced and didn’t cancel out the insults directed at the opposition. According to the SDSM leader, a true apology implies admitting one’s mistake, changing behavior, and taking responsibility, instead of a formal attempt to salvage political reputation.
Meanwhile, Levica reacted to what it said were insults and inappropriate behavior by Mickoski during the debate on the cabinet reshuffle.
“Mickoski personally delivered a speech filled with lies, insults, disparagement, and personal discrediting toward Levica MP Amar Mecinovikj, and once again dragged in Mecinovikj’s family circumstances”, Apasiev’s party added.
When it comes to the cabinet reshuffle itself, Gjoko Velkovski has officially started his term as Social Policy Minister, while Jeton Shasivari has formally succeeded Filkov as Justice Minister.
