Stevcho Jakimovski has begun serving his prison sentence of six and a half months, GROM, which is led by the former Mayor of Karposh, said on Wednesday. The party added that Jakimovski had voluntarily gone to the Shuto Orizari prison.
GROM, however, leveled accusations at the Criminal Court, claiming that there was a political order behind the case.
The prison has confirmed for Telma that Jakimovski reported to the institution on his own to serve his sentence on Wednesday. The verdict in the case, which concerns the unlawful construction of prefabs, was reached in June by the Appellate Court.
