Minister of Local Self-Government Stoilkovikj has reacted to the vandalization of the Kumanovo-based Srpski Vez (Serbian Embroidery) cultural-artistic society. Such incidents, he says, are a consequence of continuous xenophobia and chauvinism in the public space.
According to the Minister, material damage was caused to the premises where over 200 children practice folklore, while graffiti reading “KLA” was written too.
He emphasizes that such behavior constitutes vandalism that should be sharply condemned and penalized by the state and the public. The Interior Ministry has confirmed it is taking measures to solve the vandalization case.
