In response to Interior Minister Toshkovski’s press conference regarding the Gostivar water situation, SDSM has called on the Government to immediately make public the official analyses on the basis of which the decision allowing the technical use of water has been made.
“Toshkovski cites ‘confirmation from experts’. Answers should be provided by relevant health institutions, not the minister of police”, the party said in a press release on Monday.
On the other hand, VMRO-DPMNE’s position is that SDSM has been creating chaos in the public media space for a week, aiming to mislead citizens regarding the competence of those actually responsible for the Gostivar water contamination case. In that regard, it again asked why Filipche’s party wasn’t calling for the resignation and criminal accountability of Mayor Valbon Limani.
