SDSM has reiterated its criticism over the Gostivar water contamination case. However, it also warns that the area surrounding the Rashche spring has become an illegal landfill. Pointing out that Rashche supplies Skopje and 25% of citizens of the country with water.
However, VMRO-DPMNE again says that during SDSM’s time as the ruling party, especially during the period when Filipche served as Minister of Health, about 400 water tests were conducted in Gostivar showing that the water was not safe for drinking.
“And now those very same SDS dregs that hid the reports on unsafe water and left citizens to drink it have stepped out of their comfort zone and gone near the spring that supplies Skopje with drinking water. The problems that are arising, among other things, with drinking water, are neither from today nor from yesterday. They are the result of decades of negligence and systemic failures of past governments, led until two years ago by the treasonous SDS, which certainly cannot be solved in just two years of government led by VMRO-DPMNE”, the ruling party says.
