The former president of the Football Federation, Ilcho Gjorgjioski, is being released from detention. The Criminal Court made a decision to lift the measure and set bail combined with precautionary measures. The information was confirmed by the Court, which said on Thursday that Gjorgjioski’s travel document has been confiscated.
Gjorgjioski is also required to report to a court. Gjorgjioski deposited bail worth 508,000 euros in assets. The Court said the decisions had been made following a positive opinion provided by the Prosecutor’s Office, confirming also that detention had been lifted for two other individuals in the Football Federation case, Tomislav Mladenovski and Gjuro Chubrinovski. For them too, detention was replaced by bail and precautionary measures.
