On Tuesday, SDSM leader Filipche called for a “national mobilization” against the construction of data centers, accusing the Government of wanting to place citizens’ water and electrical energy at the service of private business interests.
He stated that SDSM had been warning for a month about, as he noted, the dangers of such projects, pointing to Pehchevo as an example where, according to SDSM, an attempt was made to slip the construction of a data center through.
On the other hand, Digital Transformation Minister Andonovski said Filipche and SDSM would be against everything in the country just so that it didn’t succeed.
