PM Mickoski in Interview with MTV1

Fuel prices in the country are among the lowest in Europe, PM Mickoski assessed in Monday’s interview with MTV1. The Government’s measures over the next two weeks will result in citizens saving between 4 and 4.5 million euros, he added.

“Under these conditions, fuel prices in Macedonia are the lowest in Europe. When we say lowest, it is convincingly the lowest in Europe. Perhaps the Russian Federation and Belarus have a lower fuel price than the one here”, Mickoski said.

Regarding the events marking Independence Day, the PM said that based on the statements by the State Lottery’s Director, the expense report would be made public.

“So, let the opposition continue to sink in its intrigues and fabrications”, Mickoski added.

On Tuesday (15 September), a Mickoski-headed delegation of the Government will start a visit to the U.S. lasting approximately two weeks. The PM will address the General Assembly of the UN in New York. In Washington, as he said in the interview, he will hold meetings at an ultra-high level at the State Department, Senate, and Congress, as well as with DFC representatives.
