VMRO-DPMNE has rejected SDSM’s accusations regarding ATS Group and lobbying in the U.S.
In the press release, it ironically pointed out that SDSM had scored “a textbook own goal”. In that regard, the ruling party asked whether SDSM was referring to the very same ATS Group whose manufacturing facilities had been inaugurated by former PM Zaev alongside Radmila Shekerinska.
According to VMRO-DPMNE, it was Zaev who granted a diplomatic passport to the owner, Shefshet Demirovski, despite espionage allegations, while senior SDSM officials routinely decorated the company with orders and actively supported its involvement in NATO tenders.
However, SDSM said VMRO-DPMNE couldn’t run away from paper.
“VMRO-OCG says: the current government has nothing to do with a private agreement between two companies. If it has nothing to do with it, why does the paid text include the name of the crook Mickoski? Why energy, LNG, IT agreements, defense?”, it asked.
