The democratic opposition platform is expanding, the 12:05 platform said on Saturday, after Levica MP Amar Mecinovikj had joined its members in a debate held that day.
“We are interested in the next 35 years, while our mission is to stop the anti-people’s government”, Mecinovikj said.
Also, he added that the impunity between the leaderships of SDSM and VMRO-DPMNE had to be stopped, with Levica’s responsibility being to talk with all opposition segments.
Former SDSM vice leader Igor Ivanovski said the participation of a Levica representative was proof that the front against the supporters of SDSM leader Filipche was expanding.
On the other hand, Filipche’s party again accused the platform’s initiators of doing the bidding of PM Mickoski and VMRO-DPMNE for personal interests. VMRO-DPMNE, however, accused Filipche of spreading hysteria and panic due to the state of his party.
