On Tuesday, answering a journalist’s question about the upcoming visit of EC President von der Leyen, PM Mickoski said that for there to be an effect in the negotiations with Bulgaria, it was good to have EU representatives. In Skopje on October 2, von der Leyen will meet President Siljanovska Davkova and the PM.
According to Mickoski, talks with the EC President will center on the current state of enlargement and the challenges that have emerged and lie ahead. Answering another journalist’s question, the PM noted that many developments were unfolding across the region, the EU, and the wider world that served as indicators of how the state had to shape its policies and plans.
Asked about the POLITICO report according to which Albania, Montenegro, Ukraine, and Moldova will get roadmaps, Mickoski said he had no such information.
