Former DPM Grubi, who’s a defendant in the State Lottery trial and whose house arrest measure has expired, has been issued precautionary measures by the Criminal Court. The defense’s motion to return his travel document on the basis of bail has been rejected.
As the Court explained on Tuesday, the ruling terminating house arrest was delivered pursuant to Article 470 of the Law on Criminal Procedure.
The precautionary measures are: a ban on leaving his place of residence/temporary residence, an obligation to periodically report to the Court, and a restraining order prohibiting contact and associations with certain persons. The Court added that the measure confiscating his travel document remained in force.
