The City of Skopje assures that the new amusement park will be built by the end of 2027, despite the fact that the contract for the project’s implementation, concluded in May of this year, was terminated in August.
Local authorities explain that the procedure is part of efforts for the rational use of public funds and will not affect the planned construction dynamics.
The press release follows media reports that the contract with the Mastef company was mutually terminated on August 17, without the public being previously notified of the turn of events. The City of Skopje explains that the decision is related to a long-standing court dispute regarding the procurement of equipment for the park.
