Domestic Reactions to Serbian Election Results Continue

On Monday, PM Mickoski spoke by telephone with Ilija Srdanovic, who topped the Student List’s candidates in the early parliamentary elections in Serbia.

“I congratulated him on the achieved electoral result and victory, and wished him success in the period ahead. I believe that good interstate relations, mutual respect, and cooperation will continue to develop in the interest of the citizens of both countries”, Mickoski said on social media.

On the other hand, SDSM leader Filipche, while congratulating Serbian citizens on the election outcome, accused the Mickoski-headed government of being linked to the structures of the Serbian Progressive Party through what he described as corrupt schemes in the energy sector and drug trafficking.

However, VMRO-DPMNE rejected the accusations. If Filipche thinks that the same lie repeated 1,000 times will become truth, that is simply not the case, they said.
