Court Accepts 1.1-Million-Euro Bail for Ex-Lottery Head Bajrami

The prime defendant in the Lottery case, former State Lottery Director Perparim Bajrami, will be released from detention. The Criminal Court has accepted the offered bail of 1.1 million euros in real estate. The decision was made upon a motion by Bajrami’s defense, submitted on October 14.

The Court also imposed additional precautionary measures on him: confiscation of his travel document, a ban on the issuance of a new document for crossing the state border, and regular reporting to the Court.
