At Thursday’s session, the Council of Public Prosecutors officially appointed Iskra Hadji Vasileva as the new Chief of the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office for Prosecuting Organized Crime and Corruption. The decision will enter into force on November 14, 2026, when the term of the current head, Islam Abazi, officially expires.
At the same session, the Council adopted a decision to reassign Islam Abazi to the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Gostivar.
