In an interview for the Greek public broadcaster ERT the Greek PM Alexis Tsipras commented on the latest developments in the EU and the fact that the EU leaders postponed the decision for date of start of membership negotiations with Macedonia till October. “The postponing of the decision for determining a date for North Macedonia is not because the country did not manage to implement all necessary reforms, but due to procedural reasons, mainly because the German Bundestag is not able at present time to approve this decision. North Macedonia fulfilled all obligations and implemented all reforms, and the Prespa Agreement increased the credibility of Greece,” PM Tsipras said.
