1,158 New Cases of COVID-19, 19 Deaths in Past 24 Hours

The Health Ministry reports that in the past 24 hours 1,158 new cases of COVID-19 were registered out of 6,256 tests. The Ministry also registers 166 patients who recovered from COVID-19 infection, as well as 19 who passed away due to COVID-19 complications. Of the new cases, 353 are registered in Skopje, 216 in Gostivar, 122 in Tetovo, 71 in Kicevo, 69 in Strumica, 57 in Kumanovo, 42 in Struga, 30 in Ohrid, 26 in Kavadarci, 20 in Debar, 19 in Prilep, 15 in Stip, 13 in Bitola, Veles and Gevgelija, 10 in Kocani and Resen, 9 in Sveti Nikole, 8 in Kratovo, 6 in Probistip and Makedonski Brod, 5 in Bogdanci, 4 in Berovo and Vinica, 3 in Radovis and Delcevo, 2 in Pehcevo, Vlaandovo and Demir Hisar and one in Negotino, Kriva Palanka, Krusevo, Demir Kapija and Dojran. The Health Ministry also informs that in the past 24 hours 11,925 citizens received the first does of a COVID-19 vaccine, and that so far in the country 1,115,988 doses of vaccines were applied among citizens, and 491,169 citizens have been fully immunised with two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.
