1,302 new COVID-19 cases were registered in the past 24 hours out of 4,438 tests, while 51 COVID-19 patients have passed away. The percentage of positive tests in the weekly report ranges from 21.0 to 35.2%, or an average of 29.3%, with an increase of 1.7% compared to the previous week. Health Minister Venko Filipce informed on Wednesday that eight doctors from private healthcare join their colleagues at public institutions to provide assistance, adding that it is vital at the moment to increase capacity and human resources in the battle against the pandemic.
