193 New COVID-19 Cases, 34 Deaths in Past 24 Hours

193 new COVID-19 cases were registered in the past 24 hours out of 1,192 tests, while 34 COVID-19 patients have passed away. MoI reports that during the same period the curfew was violated by 49 people, and 512 sanctions for not wearing a mask were issued. The total number of COVID-diagnosed persons in the country since the beginning of the epidemic is 142,034, the number of recovered patients is 117,794, the number of deaths is 4,262, and the number of active cases is 19,978. Health Minister Venko Filipec reported that concluding with Monday, 25,000 citizens have been vaccinated at SC “Boris Trajkovski”. Minister Filipce also wrote on Facebook that he met with Chinese Ambassador to the country, Zhang Zuo, where they discussed hastening the process of the delivery of the 200,000 Sinofarm vaccines, which according to the Embassy’s announcements should arrive in the country by the end of the month.
