26 New Cases of COVID-19 in Past 24 Hours, One Death, 9 Cured

Health Minister Venko Filipce announced at a press conference that another man from Debar at age 79 has died as a result of complications with COVID-19, making him the 7th victim of the virus in Macedonia. “In the past 24 hours, 26 new cases of COVID-19 are registered, with which the number of cases in our country has now reached 285. On positive note, we have 9 patients who will be discharged from the Clinic for Infectious Diseases after two consecutive tests made on them turned with negative results. I would like to inform that the Ministry of Health, starting with 31 March (Tuesday) will publish statistics related to the COVID-19 pandemic at 03:00 p.m. and will submit that information to the media. In relation to the situation with the Department for Rehabilitation in Kozle, I would like to inform that it will be temporarily closed after 8 people working there were tested positive for COVID-19. Patients will be redirected from there to the 8 September Hospital,” Filipce said.
