41 New Cases of COVID-19 in past 24 Hours, 29 Patients Cured, No Deaths

The Health Ministry reported that in the past 24 hours 41 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed, while 29 are registered as cured, after their two control tests for COVID-19 turned negative. Of the cured patients, 25 were in a good health condition and staying in quarantine at their homes, while 4 others were treated for the virus in hospitals. Of the new cases, most are registered in Skopje (17), and Kumanovo (11). For the first time in a while, no death caused by COVID-19 was registered in one day. So far, there are 1,300 cases of COVID-19 in Macedonia, of which 439 in Skopje, 353 in Kumanovo, 131 in Prilep, 65 in Tetovo, 62 in Veles, 55 in Struga, 51 in Debar, 34 in Stip, 28 in Kocani, 17 in Bitola, 15 in Ohrid, 14 in Gostivar, 5 in Kavadarci and Kriva Palanka, 4 in Gevgelija and Radovis, 3 in Krusevo, Kicevo and Negotino, 2 in Strumica, Probistip and Makedonski Brod and 1 in Demir Hisar, Pehcevo and Valandovo. In meantime, Deputy PM Bujar Osmani and Education Minister Arber Ademi revealed on Facebook that the first control test done to them turned negative for COVID-19. Caretaker PM Spasovski and Health Minister Filipce also confirmed via social networks that their first control test turned out negative. Osmani, Ademi, Spasovski and Filipce were put in isolation after they were in contact with Mayor of Kumanovo Maksim Dimitrievski, who was tested positive for COVID-19. Dimitrievski also wrote on Facebook that the latest test that was made to him on Thursday turned out negative for COVID-19.
