Analysis: Consolidation of Majority Uncertain

Negotiations for the formation of a new parliament are currently only on an unofficial level. Alternative, which seems to be the key to stabilizing and consolidating the ruling majority, told Kanal 5 that so far, they have not received an official offer from SDSM, but do not rule out the possibility of negotiations with the ruling parties, although they claim that they have remained in line with VMRO-DPMNE and AA. However, the Minister of Defence, Radmila Sekerinska, confirmed that negotiations for an increase for the ruling majority are underway, after Deputy Prime Minister Grubi said that negotiations are underway with all parties except Levica. He expects the negotiations to end successfully and quickly, without specifying which parties are in play. VMRO-DPMNE does not reveal whether and with whom they are negotiating for a possible new majority. From there, they called on Prime Minister Zaev to submit his announced resignations. They remain of the opinion that early snap elections are the only way out of the political crisis. While the uncertainty about the parliamentary majority continues, the head of state Pendarovski believes that another day should be waited to see in which direction the situation will develop.
