Appeals Over Detention for Janakieski and Bozinovski Forwarded

The Criminal Court has forwarded the appeals over the detention measure for former officials Mile Janakieski and Kiril Bozinovski to the Court of Appeals in Skopje, which will review them at a public session once it gets the necessary opinion from the Special Prosecutor’s Office (SPO). If the measure in the Titanic case is confirmed, the SPO will be able to request for it to be extended after the 30 days end, that is, on 14 November. VMRO-DPMNE has continued to claim that the case is a typical example of political persecution, whereas SDSM adheres to its stand that there nobody is above the law and that there must be justice.
