Bulgaria, Slovenia, Serbia Provide Assistance for Dealing with Forest Fires

Bulgarian Caretaker PM Stefan Yanev will send to North Macedonia a team of 25 firefighters, 3 firefighting vehicles and 2 ambulances in order to assist the efforts for putting out of the forest fires in the areas around Kocani and Delcevo. As BGNES reports, this has been agreed in a phone conversation between Yanef and PM Zoran Zaev on Tuesday about the situation with the forest fires. Apart from the Bulgarian help, Defence Minister Radmila Sekerinska announced that Slovenia will send to the fire-affected areas in the country 16 firefighting vehicles and a team of 46 firefighters. On Wednesday, Serbia sent 4 helicopters for dealing with the forest fires all over the country, while the Swiss government offered help and support for reconstruction of the houses damaged or completely lost in the fires. The government reached a decision at a session held on Wednesday to awards 10,000 denars to each of the firefighters who are dealing with the forest fires all over the country.
