COVID-19: 10 Delta Variant Cases in Country

There are 10 Delta variant cases in the country. Health Minister Venko Filipce said on Wednesday that the last four had been confirmed in the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts laboratory, adding that they hadn’t had too many contacts. “They travelled abroad. Those are two couples, while there is no epidemiological risk,” he pointed out. This week, the Infectious Diseases Commission will discuss whether some restrictive measures are needed due to the current situation.  The person from Veles who has the Delta variant doesn’t believe he has COVID-19. When it comes to the vaccination process, the on-site vaccination will start Monday. Vaccinating children aged 12-16 with Pfizer will be allowed.
