Day of Europe observed at Government of Macedonia

A special session was held in the Government of Macedonia on occasion the Day of Europe (9 May), as well as the 70^th anniversary of the formation of the Council of NOB and the 75^th anniversary of the first assembly of ASNOM. The session was chaired by PM Zoran Zaev, who said that Macedonia always was and shall forever remain part of Europe. “After all the challenges we faced and all the sacrifices we made, we are finally about to realise one of the greatest national goals of our country – integration in NATO and start of membership talks with the EU. We managed to preserve the Macedonian identity, language and anthem, which today are receiving international recognition. We should be well aware of all the forms of fascism, recognise them and fight against them,” said PM Zoran Zaev.
