Deputy PM Dimitrov Participating in Symi International Symposium

Upon an invitation from the Andreas Papandreou Foundation, in cooperation with the Region of Attica and City of Athens, Deputy PM for European Affairs Nikola Dimitrov is participating in the Symi International Symposium. As the European Affairs Secretariat said in Monday’s press-release, Dimitrov participated in the panel “What is the future of Europe without the Balkans?”, discussing the current challenges facing the accession process of North Macedonia and influence on the enlargement policy and EU’s credibility. According to Dimitrov, the Prespa Agreement was possible only because Greece accepted the neighbour’s right to self-determination. “The issue of who we are and what language we speak is ours,” he stated.
