DUI Proposes 3-Step Plan to VMRO-DPMNE over Constitutional Changes

DUI Spokesperson Bujar Osmani revealed at a press conference a proposal for a three-step
plan they will offer to VMRO-DPMNE for resolving the current political situation
concerning the constitutional changes. The first step of the plan is for VMRO-DPMNE to
provide support for the constitutional change before the second intergovernmental conference
between EU and North Macedonia takes place, the second step is for DUI to immediately
withdraw from the government and the ruling majority after that, and the final step is, if
VMRO-DPMNE accept the plan, for start of a process of investigation of all political parties
and their leaders, in order to increase the objectivity and transparency. “We propose the last
step so that we can finally put an end to the bickering between the political parties with their
unsupported accusations of alleged involvement of politicians in criminal activities,” Osmani
said.
