EU Borders Remain Closed for Macedonian Citizens till 1 September 2020

According to the latest decision of official Brussels, the borders of the EU shall remain closed for the citizens of Macedonia until 1 September 2020. After reviewing and updating the list of countries whose citizens will be allowed in the EU, the Ambassadors of the EU member-states in Brussels decided that Macedonia and Serbia will not be added to the list of countries whose citizens will be allowed to travel to the EU, due to the high numbers of cases of COVID-19. Recently, Bulgarian and Croatian authorities decided to allow Macedonian citizens in their countries, only if they provide proof of negative PCR test for COVID-19 not older than 72 hours.
