FM Osmani: Skopje, Sofia Closer to Agreement Meeting by Meeting

Foreign Affairs Minister Bujar Osmani stated in a briefing with journalists that official Skopje and Sofia have brought their positions concerning the open bilateral issues closer to each other, but are still far from reaching agreement. “It is very important for both sides to reach a mutually acceptable solution so the EU enlargement processes can continue, especially now amidst the events and war between Russia and Ukraine. At each and every meeting we hold with representatives from Sofia, we are making a small but significant progress, but the movements of our positions remain within the frameworks determined by the resolution adopted in the Parliament. Once we reach any agreement about any of the open issues, the public will be properly informed,” Osmani said.
