Foreign Minister Dimitrov Meets Counterpart Dacic in Serbia

A decision will be made this week regarding the opening of Macedonia’s border, according to Foreign Minister Nikola Dimitrov. At Wednesday’s meeting with counterpart Ivica Dacic in Serbia, they talked about facilitating the limitations between the two countries resulting from the coronavirus situation, as well as about and the border issue. At a press-conference, the Dimitrov stated that in consultation with Health Minister Venko Filipce, they had an initial plan for Macedonia’s borders to be opened towards mid-June. He added that there will be intensive discussions in the coming days and that the decision would be made in the frames of the virus and regional situation.
