German Ambassador to Macedonia Anke Holstein met on Tuesday VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski. At the meeting, as the party’s press service informs, Mickoski informed Holstein about the efforts of VMRO-DPMNE for formation of a parliamentary majority and new government after the 2020 parliamentary election. He also stated that the government of SDSM is not capable to deliver results in both political and economic fields for Macedonia. Mickoski also concluded that the 2020 parliamentary election was conducted with numerous cases of fraud and bribing of voters by the ruling party, and that these incidents have been overlooked by the OSCE/ODIHR Mission in Macedonia. Later on Tuesday, Holstein also held a meeting with DUI Leader Ali Ahmeti, with whom she discussed the processes for formation of the new government in Macedonia, with both interlocutors concluding that stable state institutions are crucial for the integration of Macedonia in the EU and the rule of law. Ahmeti also presented DUI’s conditions for forming alliances for parliamentary majority and new government.
