“North Macedonia is an active participate in the process for global security,” PM Zoran Zaev said. The PM heads the Macedonian delegation at the Munich Security Conference, which includes also Defence Minister Radmila Sekerinska, FM Nikola Dimitrov and MP Xhevat Ademi. At the meeting with Milo Djukanovic, the Montenegrin President congratulated Zaev on the latest developments on the NATO road, adding that Montenegro would very soon ratify the accession protocol. Zaev expressed gratitude for Montenegro’s continued support. Within the frameworks of the activities in Munich, the Government’s delegation held other meetings. Zaev also met, among others, US Senator James Risch, Sir Alan Duncan, UK Minister of Europe and the Americas, Ramush Haradinaj, PM of Kosovo, Norwegian PM Erna Solberg, and former US Vice President Joe Biden. At the Munich Security Conference, German Chancellor Angela Merkel praised Zaev and his Greek counterpart, Alexis Tsipras, over their “courage” to reach the name deal. In Munich, the Ewald von Kleist Award was presented to Zaev and Greek counterpart Alexis Tsipras.
