The Greek Foreign Affairs Minister Georgiaos Katrougalos and the vice-president of the Greek political party “New Democracy” Kostis Hatzidakis commented in a radio duel the 1st round of the presidential election in Macedonia. “I want to believe that political forces that want to put an end to international intolerance will win this election. However, I also must mention that even the candidate of the conservative and nationalistic party VMRO-DPMNE did not dispute the Prespa Agreement in general,” Katrougalos said. “I think the candidate of the ruling alliance led by PM Zoran Zaev will win this election, because he will get the support of voters of Albanian ethnicity, but no one is certain whether the necessary census for election of president will be met,” Hatzidakis said.
