Health Ministers Meeting in Framework of Berlin Process

Health Minister Venko Filipce and his Bulgarian counterpart Kostadin Angelov, on Thursday co-chaired the Meeting of the Ministers of Health within the Berlin Process. The topic of discussion at the ministerial meeting was the health response in conditions of COVID-19 in the region and beyond, as well as a coordinated approach for free movement of people, goods and services, while keeping the epidemic situation under control. Minister Filipce thanked for the support of all companies, embassies, European Union countries that provided significant assistance in protective medical care, but also funds to strengthen the health system in conditions of corona. He informed the participants about the support and the four packages of measures from the Government for assistance to the citizens and the companies and explained how the health system works in conditions of pandemic.
