The Health Ministry said on Wednesday that there were 13 new coronavirus cases, 44 new cured persons, and two new deaths. Since the start of the epidemic, there have been 1,539 cases, 1,057 patients have recovered, while 88 persons have died. The number of active cases is currently 394. The same day, Health Minister Venko Filipce once again urged the importance of the three rules: frequently washing and disinfecting hands, maintaining a distance of at least two metres, and wearing protective equipment. “We won the first battle with the coronavirus,” he wrote on his official Facebook page.
