Health Ministry’s Latest COVID-19 Data and Other Coronavirus Information

In the last 24 hours, five new COVID-19 cases have been registered, the Health Ministry said on Wednesday. It was added that the same period had seen 1,749 new tests, six new cured patients, and no new deaths. The number of active cases in the country is 183. Monday also saw the start of vaccination process without an appointment. Every day from Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm, citizens will be able to get a Sinovac jab. In front of a lot of vaccination points, however, there were long queues and lack of organisation, several media reported. Monday also saw the start of the on-site vaccination process. When it comes to children aged 12-16, they will nonetheless have to register on vakcinacija.mk to get the Pfizer shot. So far, around 1,500 have registered, Sitel TV reported on Monday afternoon. The vaccination process for that age group will start on Friday. Health Minister Venko Filipce, who paid a visit to the new vaccination point in the Municipality of Suto Orizari, stated that the epidemiological situation was peaceful.
