In Past 24 Hours 28 New Cases of COVID-19, One Death, 48 Cured

The Health Ministry informed on Wednesday that in the past 24 hours 28 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed, one patient died due to COVID-19 complications, while 48 patients are registered as cured, after the two control tests done to each of them turned out negative. This is the second day in a row in which the number of cured patients is greater than the number of new cases. Of the new cases, 11 were confirmed in Skopje, 9 in Prilep, 3 in Veles, 2 in Kumanovo and Tetovo and 1 in Valandovo, the first case in that municipality. Since the start of the epidemic in Macedonia, a total number of 1,259 COVID-19 cases were registered, of which 422 in Skopje, 342 in Kumanovo, 126 in Prilep, 62 in Tetovo, 62 in Veles, 55 in Struga, 51 in Debar, 34 in Stip, 28 in Kocani, 17 in Bitola, 15 in Ohrid, 13 in Gostivar, 4 in Gevgelija, Kavadarci, Kriva Palanka and Radovis, 3 in Krusevo, 2 in Strumica, Probistip, Kicevo, Negotino and Makedonski Brod, and 1 in Demir Hisar, Pehcevo and Valandovo. At the moment, 118 patients with COVID-19 are hospitalised at clinics around the country, and 8 of them are in critical condition and connected to medical ventilators.
