Interior Minister Spasovski against Adoption of Pardon Draft-Law

According to Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski, there should be an improvement and increase of prison capacities instead of adoption of the Pardon Draft-Law.

As he said on Saturday, it’s a bad time to adopt the law, while the scope of persons that will be covered will not have the desired effect and result in improvement of prison conditions. “A strategic plan to increase prion capacities would be better than a pardon. Following the previous pardons, a big number of pardoned convicts ended up behind bars again,” the Minister noted.
