Justice Minister Maricic Presents Work in First 100 Days of Term

North Macedonia will be a country where everyone that has broken or will break the law will be held accountable, Justice Minister Bojan Maricic said on Friday, presenting the work of the first 100 days of his term. According to him, all prosecutors or judges responsible for illegal activities will be filtered out of the judicial system. There will be special focus on cases of high corruption and organised crime. Maricic added that the Judicial Council’s decision dismissing two judges from the Ohrid represented a start of the filtration process in the judiciary according to the new rule. “This is the only step to restore the lost trust in the judiciary,” the Minister pointed out.
